At Harnham Infant School, we believe strongly in learning with and from others.
Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for colleagues from schools and other educational settings to join us for professional training, development events and visits to Harnham.

Current Training and Events:
Anaphylaxis Awareness Training
Face-to-face practical training hosted at Harnham Infant School and delivered by Regiment Training Group.
Develop the knowledge and confidence to recognise anaphylaxis and respond appropriately in an emergency.
The training will cover:

What anaphylaxis is

Common triggers
-
Signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
-
Life-threatening airway, breathing and circulation problems
-
The importance of early recognition and calling for help

Emergency treatment for anaphylaxis
-
Awareness of adrenaline devices
-
Practical familiarisation with auto-injector training devices
Each session lasts 90 minutes and is limited to 20 delegates.
Cost: £20 per delegate
A named letter of attendance will be provided for each participant.
