Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a top priority at our school. 

Harnham Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.

Below you will find some helpful information about our Safeguarding policies and procedures. If you have any questions or concerns regarding child protection and welfare, please contact one of the safeguarding leads as detailed here. 

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Miss Natasha Dorrington ​

Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are ​Mrs Laura Pike and Mrs Fawn Sowerby.

Our Governor responsible for Safeguarding is Mrs Sarah Faulding. 


We follow the government guidelines for safeguarding and all of our staff, governors and volunteers are trained  and updated regularly. This includes safer recruitment of new staff.
